SENKO presents: [USA] Darren Floyd is a motion picture artist who works with 16mm film, video, and zines. His films and videos have used portraiture, letter writing, collaboration, and improvisation as structural elements in experimental narrative films. Dreams of Babies was originally created as the intermission for Amo Gulinello's two-act play Superheroes. Functioning as a faux music video for Cat Power's "Rockets" the film depicts a dark hour in love, where dreams of babies are only dreams. Darren holds a MFA in Film and Media Art from Temple University and a BA in Women's Studies from The College of Wooster.
